Once of the secondary characters who endeared himself to this reader is a central character in the two tales of love set in the west of the 1800's.I happen to love this book even though it is not intense, and definitely not as graphic and heart wrenching as its predecessor.The alpha male in this book went a little to far in my opinion, but his heart was in the right place so I let it go and enjoyed the fireworks between Lucas and Dee. Luckily for him she take no prisoners and he has finally met his matc. "Linda Howard Lady of the West Series is good too." according to debbie jones. I always enjoy Linda Howard books. This is one of the western series and was't sure I would like it but I did and bought the rest of the series. Book has great characters and true to life places & actions for the time of the setting.. Angel creek indeed This must be the third or fourth time for reading this book. It is still one of my favorites. Lucas and Dee make the book work. Each different, but also alike.
