Now, 18 years and 1.5 million copies later, Framework: A Cognitive Approach has been revised, updated and expanded

Worth a read for anyone working with people in poverty! Every book on this topic will face criticism because not everyone in poverty fits into the same mold. I understand that. However, this book is still a great book to read for anyone who works with people in poverty. I teach in an urban school district with very high poverty levels.. Pay It Forward said Relevant and constructive. Excellent eye-opening book with updated statistics. Valuable for educators and those who work with families in any supportive way. This book has become a relevant lens through which I view my surroundings and offers me a greater sensitivity to the circumstances of others. Highly r. Benja Ringler said And excellent (and quick. And excellent (and quick!) read for educators working in the Public School system. Interesting insight into the poverty viewpoint. I highly recommend!
