Wonderful houses, wonderful book Edie Tsong The book is one part David mcCaulay, one part Richard Scarry, though of domestic scenes around the world. The clear, detailed, and playful illustrations show a house (opened up to reveal interior) and yard and the daily activity happening within the space. It's so fun for my daughter to look for the children in the pictures and count all the other people. I appreciate the glimpses into the very different ordinary lives from around the world. my partner enjoys seeing the construction of the different houses.
