I strongly felt that I was reading in present day politics as well as what the USA's adversaries won't do to get to us. In the end, it was about somebody who really wanted to get our government . I feel like the writing is great but the crazy, seemingly random connections that come out later in the book are too much. I'm not a fan of how Baldacci creates characters that don't seem to be connected and then connects them later in the book. I don't see the point. The story would be great . .5 star book.
