I’ve enjoyed reading Winslow’s prior novels like California Fire and Life, The Winter of Frankie Machine and The Gentlemen's Hour. But his latest is a dud. I found it one dimensional, full of cliches and unlikeable characters. But hey, he’s written over a dozen good books, so even a champ has to lose once in awhile.. Donavan said Let the details lure you in, and brace yourself for the ride. As a big Winslow fan, I had The Force preordered well before the release date. I was so excited to begin it that I pawned off two meetings and family movie night (I know, I know).
