Very awesome book, he hasn't put it down since Christmas.. Nice book, but is it relavant for todays boys? J. C. I bought this book for my 8 yr old grandson. He didn't seem too impressed, I guess the new generation likes the electronic toys more than books. I had a chance to look through it myself and I thought it was a pretty neat book, but then again that's grandpa talking. Perhaps later in his life, if he holds onto it, he'll appreciate information on tying knots an. RK said Just buy it, it's that good!. Bought as a gift for a young man (11 years) who is also in the Boy Scouts. He said it is "great", and buried his nose into this for long periods, until he had read it all.then went back and re-read parts he really liked.
