In this story we get a much closer and better look at Charles one of the Marroks sons who is his enforcer and who intimidates pretty much everyone. We are also introduced to Anna who is an Omega werewolf. Omegas are peaceful (for werewolves) and create balance in the pack by helping to calm and soothe the other werewolves. Omegas are also . I immediately purchased this first book in the series upon finishing the novella, and I was really glad I did. The novella introduced the reader to Charles and Anna, werewolves with wolves that have bonded together immediately upon meeting.
