Very Helpful for Homeschool Singing lessons I sang extensively in high school and in college. I sang in large choirs and in small ensembles as well as solo work. I still love singing, and have sung to my children since before they were born. Now that they are in middle school and high school they really want to "learn to sing prorperly" also, but I just didn't know where to start with teaching them. This book is very helpful for me to organize lessons. We were singing in 3-part harmony on the very first day! I would highly recommend this to an homeschool parent with some music experien. Sight-Singing for Dummies This is a great little book, especially for the extreme newbie in the area of directing an all-girls choir. Helpful explanations and simple exercises to make you feel like you know what you're doing. I wouldn't recommend this book for an experienced musician who already knows the basics of musicianship (harmony, tuning, etc.), but if you're suddenly confronted with the task of being in charge of starting up a choir which you've never done before, this is a great way to begin and at a very reasonable price.
