DESCRIPTION:
(Intermediate Band Method). One of the most widely used series of methods for individual or like-instrument class instruction. Using a very well-rounded approach including scales, arpeggios, technical studies, studies for musicianship, articulation studies, solos, duets, and studies devoted to the special needs of each instrument, this series provides a fantastic wealth of material for all student musicians.
An excellent practice book. Albiorix The Rubank method books are a standard source of practice material for instrumental studies. This particular method book had a nice mix of technical etudes and song excerpts. This intermediate books has good coverage of keys to 3 or 4 flats and sharps. The book is printed on heavy paper that will last some abuse. I have a Rubank method for clarinet that is over twenty years and in great shape!. Good daily practice It is about my speed. I do one page a day and just do it again when finished. It has interesting and comprehensive excersizes.. "Five Stars" according to Randal K Thomas. All of these methods books do not have the same content for the different instruments.
