Moving to Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1997, Darren played with the rock bands Flood Romeo and Ledfoot, among others. Drumming offers an opportunity to develop a closer relationship with time and space, and it also offers a way to express yourself, with potential on par with visual art and written language.
