Ignore the negative reviews - it's worth a few bucks to judge for yourself Let me start by saying I have been an Amazon customer for twenty years and I have *never* reviewed anything before. But I consider this book to important for me to keep my mouth shut. It was a life-changer for me. Don't know why some reviewers are saying it is not helpful for people with severe depression - maybe some people with severe depression need a different approach, but let me speak for the rest of us. I was having suicidal thoug. Helpful for recognition of internal patterns, but Gregory Brylski I like this book because it shows how the mind operates to defeat oneself. However, having studied the issues (I'm by no means an expert) just related to myself, my conclusion is the information given in this book exposes symptoms rather than exposing the real issues. For example, if I'm reacting to situations using emotional reasoning, the book seems to suggest that I just recognize that and make a reasoned decision to stop it and just . Very Informative But Would Prefer It In Physical Copy Form Joseph & Marie Kind of long and drawn out. While there is a lot of good information in here and is very insightful I find myself having trouble reading it for long sessions. I honestly think the physical copy of this book would have been better for me than the digital copy because the charts are kind of hard to see on my phone and it's harder to follow the activities it asks you to do. I don't really like the real life experiences he outlines sometimes
