DESCRIPTION:

Inside the container she not only finds a woman, but a secret thought lost millennia ago. She finds herself at odds with The Mark, a dangerous pirate organization that wants the cargo on her ship. As Tanis and Sera battle pirates and interstellar governments, the two women forge a friendship that will forever shape the destiny of humanity.. But when she picks up a mysterious shipping container on Coburn Station, things begin to go wrong. Sera leads a simple life. Tanis doesn't trust Sera; and Sabrina's rag-tag crew is nothing like what she's used to, but she's going to have to rely on them to avoid capture and get back to the Intrepid. The woman is Tanis Richards, and she knows the location of the Intrepid, a missing colony ship from humanity's golden age. A little smuggling, some drinking contests, and captaining her star freighter, Sabrina. A life from which she

"Still quite the series!" according to Amazon Customer. This series has been great! And this book was another adventurous, nail-biting journey! The Tanis character has matured and has become a great leader, so much so that her people will willing risk all to help and support her.The only negative I have found in the series has been the obligatory sex that really lends nothing to the story, much like when Gentry Lee took over the Rama series from Arthur Clarke. You could throw it all out and it wouldn't affect the story in the least. That said, it's definitely worth the read!. Sassy women to follow Manie Kilian This is the first book of Michael Cooper I've read. Fortunately it is also the first in the new Orion War series. I am so relieved! Now I can keep up with further details as new books in the series get released. What a riveting start this was! Action and more action all the way! And the heroes are two wen, Sera and Tanis. Both are sassy leaders. Both hide secrets to boggle the mind. The story is fast paced, the chosen universe believable and the characters well drawn. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next installment. Great military type action Sci-fi!. "Good" according to Bobbie McMillan. With the end of the Intrepid Saga I must say I am disappointed. I finished it too soon. I withdraw my earlier complaints. I missed a lot of sleep from reading this book. And for me that is the highest praise I can give. I will buy other titles from this author based on their name alone. Buy this book. If you love Science Fiction you won't be disappointed.
