I am happy that I was a fan before reading The Mask, or he would have never gotten me hooked.The story seems rushed and cumbersome. He stays way too long using up all the adjectives he can recall to describ. but not near as good as his later works I'm with everyone else. The ending was very abrupt and unsatisfying. Otherwise okay, but not near as good as his later works.. "What Happened?" according to Ladyts. I gave the book four stars because I did not like the way the book ended.
