Jessica Inman said Good book, but not what I was expecting. I expected a wider variety of recipes in this book. Many Persian dishes I thought were "famous", or at least widely popular, did not have their recipes included in this book. That said, the navigation of this book was easy and clear. I do not regret buying this book. However, I will need to buy ANOTHER Persian cookbook in order to have the recipes to all the dishes I want to prepare. The recipes in Ms. Shaida's cookbook are closest to the recipes most Iranians use to prepare their meals. The histories of the foods and dishes are very interesting as well.
