Great method book for elementary band A Cabello I did a method book comparison and picked this one as my favorite! It has plenty of exercises at the beginning of the book for slow starters and lots of duets to play. Love it!. Outstanding book and DVD S. Hamilton I am a 51 year old woman learning how to play the alto saxophone. This is the best book I have ever purchased for self learning of musical instruments. The DVD taught me how to assemble, clean, handle and disassemble my saxophone. The instructor also taught me the proper fingering of the notes. I could not see this in other books.
