The selection of 20 songs is great. But skip the CD - the recorded tracks are not the original recordings (I'm sure the licensing of the. "Great Companion" according to A. Rice. A companion book to the Hal Leonard Bass Method (Book 2.) As such, there is no theory and the book can be used on it's own. I wish that the writers of this series and the "Easy Pop Melodies" series had worked together so that our kids could play together.. Five Stars George Mills Good beginner songs.
