Very disappointed. I liked the cover M. Quick Very disappointed. I liked the cover, but would never have bought this if I could have looked at it in a bookstore. Photos are average and not very crisp. Formatting looks preset (as if done on Shutterfly), and the information is quite basic (i.e., "The Southern California surf and skate cultures have influenced fashion, art, film and music around the world" is highlighted). I also found only a handful of the photos inspiring -- Elle Decor magazine does a much better job. Oh well.. I was disappointed. It is not the book I thought it C. Sisson I was disappointed. Pedine No karate chopped pillows or rose-stuffed vases here - just real life, real homes and real people captured beautifully by photographer Marcia Prentice. You won't find a mix like this in other home, design or travel titles. A perfect gift for the wanderlust in your life.
