I liked his female lead even though I thought he could have developed her character much more. This story came across mor. "Grisham does it again--this time with a prevalent problem" according to Patricia S. Burgess. Grisham has done it again! This time his plot foundation is strip mining in West Virginia. The characters he creates to expose this horrendous environmental problem are very real and fit the situation perfectly. The tension created by pitting sophisticated city life and career with rural livin
