After all that's what makes you advanced. If these arrangements were much more elaborate you'd be paying a lot more. That's not to say they are bad. Some are better than others. Canon has a challenging 8 measure passage in the middle of the piece that should challenge any guitarist to play authentically at speed. I took Can Can and added on. Went off on Linus and Lucy in the middle of the piece. Relatively simple is good. Jazz heads are generally simple. Anyhow I'm co. I purchased it after that. It is exactly what I like and I have purchased another book of the same series "Fingerpicking Standards". Both of these books are just right for my level of experience, which is intermediate. I am not a beginner. I have taken lessons to play and read solo guitar music and have been practicing for a number of years. I like the song selections because they are familiar to me and recognizable when I play. I li. Good Mix of Easy and Intermediate Pieces (Typo in Bouree in E Minor) Theresa ODonnell Good book with some of the classic pieces. It can be argued they are cliche, but a good intro to classical fingerpicking nonetheless.It should be noted a typo exists in Bouree in E Minor. The tablature in the 9th measure is incorrect. The tab for the final two eighth notes should match the tab for the eighth notes in the 1st measure. There may be others, but that is the only mistake I have identified thus far.
