The Best Radio Version of A Christmas Carol J. Brewster This radio play version remains my favorite and we will be listening to it again on Christmas Eve. I have heard all the others, and this one just seems to have more heart and life to it, and doesn't give the feeling of actors standing in a warm studio in front of microphones. It is faithful to the book, and the Scrooge and Marley scene is absolutely frightening. The cast is perfect, and the music is outstanding, which one expects with Colonial Radio Theatre.. Outstanding JMD This is by far the best version of Charles Dickens Christmas Carol I have heard. This is very faithful to the narrative of the book. The voice actors, narrator, and music are all outstanding. If you like the Christmas Carol story, you will very much enjoy this Colonial Radio dramatization.. Great teaching tool! Great listening!
