I have now read the first five of the Otter Creek books and the first two were the very best.I was utterly charmed by Rebecca Deel's characters, they are fun people I would love to meet. There was no sex, no bad language, no tattoos, no alcohol or harmful drugs promoted and it was refreshing to have such discip. I have enjoyed others in the series, and it's a good thing I didn't read this one first. I am about a third of the way through and hoping it picks up soon.
