Building their shed is a real plus B. Hall I'm building a 8x10 shed using timber framing joinery. This is my first attempt at timber framing. The book offered a good overview and very good information on the types of joints and why you would want to use a particular one. What I found most helpful was the section of the book where he documented step by step the building of a 12x16 shed. Real life examples really helped.. Very disappointed. Others have mentioned that this book was dated Very disappointed. Others have mentioned that this book was dated, to which I thought, "this is basic stuff, how dated can to be?" Almost primitive is the answer. This is a treatise on how to select standing timber and then fell, shape and join the resulting material by hand.
