"Great" according to JOSEPH VANUCCHI. Best book I've read in a long time. The whole concept to me is fantastic, and being a huge Shadows of the Apt fan I've always loved the whole relationship with people and living things. Almost like actual evolution, in fact, going from insects to mammals. Actually I'm not sure about that, with old insects and stuff, that but you know what I mean! Anyway great structure, detail, wording, originality.can't wait for the second book, this was extremely. Excellent larry The author has created an incredibly believable world and filled it with wonderful characters. A true page turner from start to finish. The characters were alive to me, their motivations and development unfolding on every page. The story was wonderfully thought out and executed. I'm excited to read more from this author and will be starting the second part of this series as soon as I post this review.. Disappointing Disappointing. Too much talking in the head, not between characters. Lots of things repeated over and over - won't tell what because they would be spoilers.
