This book was recommended to me by someone, or I never would have found it. Once you get past some of the incongruities of this new world (for example, if there is an energy crisis, how can everyone afford the energy to run these huge computing systems - they mention the energy crisis a few times - it's bad enough that no one lives in the suburbs anymore but everyone has an OASIS connection and zettabytes in storage). then it's a great adventure. In a way, it's like playing a computer game - although it's onl. Nostalgia-Driven Action David Southworth I thought this was a pretty good nostalgia piece that will make a great movie in Spielberg's hands. Its the future, everything is run by a large corporation and their simulated world. The founder of the world has left a series of clues for gamers to get to his fortune - which would be enough to overthrow the evil corporation now running things. While slow at times, this book knows when to pick up the pace, and there are many scenes I definitely look forward to seeing on the big screen. I think most would highl.
