"Good buy but could be better" according to Amazon Customer. I do like this set very much. It is well made and easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Germany.I didn't rate it higher however because it so easily could have been a lot better better.It seems like they have they have a fixed silence time for you to respond to instructions. It feels like they give you maybe 5 seconds to respond before proceeding and talking right over your response. This is fine for disc one or two when your response is supposed to be "Yes" or "No". By disk five or six however it gets kind of . The Pimsleur Method (to learn German) Works for Me ! Jill Clardy The company I worked for had its primary manufacturing facility located in Germany, and though most of my German colleagues spoke good English, I always felt at a disadvantage in meetings when they reverted to discussing amongst themselves in German. I also felt that it was unfair that they were REQUIRED to speak English fluently (since they worked for a company with U.S. headquarters), however we were not required to learn any German.I purchased this introductory level course, and used it during my commute to work.
