Very Good resource Kindle Customer I really like this series. I use the viola and violin books vol. 1 and 2. Vol. 1 in the violin and viola version allows students to become confident in note recognition and rhythm seperately. The lessons are dedicated to pitches only and then pages dedicated to rhythm that corresponds. There is enough repetition so students become. J. Schimmel said My eight year old daughter learned to read music with this.. Obviously, not every eight year old picks the viola. I didn't even know they use a different clef than a violin. This is a great series of books, at least if results count for anything.
