An Outstanding Book I am a second-generation native of the Southwestern desert and have been around coyotes all my life. My family ranched in Southern Arizona for many years and we maintained a more-or-less non-aggression pact with “our” coyotes (the dismal economics of desert open-range cattle agriculture. There are a number of books on coyotes, but this one is the best overall I've read.
