Five Stars G Crosby excellent ref book. Four Stars An important book.. "Great photos, okay narrative" according to Marc L. Tavasci. I was hoping this book would be a pictorial history of the 15th AF in World War II with a narrative of their combat operations--it wasn't. Lots of tales of bombers being shot up and shot down, along with stories about strafing, crash landing, photo recon and life as a POW.My favorite part of the book is the great photo selection.
