The book is hardback and has quite a bit of weight to it compared to other books. The cover has vibrant colors, as do all of the pages contained in it. The library editions are the way to go for these Avatar additions! These books are hard cover with a mix of matte and glossy finish. They're all larger books (think the size of a game guide.) The art inside is top notch (as expected) and includes some thoughts from the creators on the side panels. The back includes step by step process art for char. It's okayhowever. From a fan of the Avatar: The Last Airbender series, I was excited to get this book. This story, was okay but it has it problems. The art is good considering it comparison with the series.
