I like this book because it examines Agile in detail, including its history, its inner techniques, and its implications for those who use it. The book starts with an outline of the importance of project management per se, works through the various aspects of Agile before turning to a discussion of two cases studies of its application in practice, and finishes with criticism that has been directed at the methodology. There is also an overview of the Agile sub-industry that has arisen, in terms of both advisory services and the software tools that its use necessitates.
